Taylor Fritz is currently in the prime of his tennis career.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 27 years of age, he is the American number one and reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

He has nine career titles to his name, including the 2022 Indian Wells<\/a> crown which he won by defeating Rafael Nadal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But a Grand Slam title continues to elude the American number one and he is concerned that he is running out of time to achieve his dream.<\/p>\n

Taylor Fritz<\/a> is still very much in the middle of his career and is focused on trying to win a Grand Slam.<\/p>\n

But ahead of the Wimbledon Championships<\/a>, he discussed what he would like to do after he retires from tennis.<\/p>\n

Fritz also made a worrying admission about how he feels physically, and expressed his interest in coaching after hanging up his racket.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I\u2019m done [playing] it\u2019s going to be tough not to be involved in tennis,\u201d the world number five told The Guardian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love talking about the strategic part of the game and there\u2019s a very good chance I\u2019ll coach or be in charge of a player development centre to help find new pros.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWill he still be chasing down slams in five years? \u201cI\u2019ll be almost 33. The way my body\u2019s been feeling the last couple of years I can\u2019t honestly say that, five years from now, it\u2019s going to be great. I don\u2019t know if I have that many more years of peak tennis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner<\/a> have been dominating the ATP\u2019s<\/a> Grand Slam scene since the start of 2024.<\/p>\n

In fact, they have won seven of the last eight majors, and they follow in the footsteps of the stranglehold Roger Federer<\/a>, Rafael Nadal<\/a> and Novak Djokovic<\/a> had on the Slams for two decades.<\/p>\n

Fritz is part of a large group of players seeking their first major, and he thinks his greatest chance is on the hard courts at Flushing Meadows and the hallowed turf at the All-England Club.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Wimbledon] might be the best chance for me to win a Slam,\u201d Fritz added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if I would say I have a better chance in the US Open [where he lost the 2024 final to Sinner].
