Some of \u2018em last for a long time, but most of them are fleeting. Permanent until they\u2019re not. That\u2019s the deal. You know what it is when you sign up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cMe and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was really cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell. But \u2026 we made the most of what it was, even amidst all the dysfunction. We made a fucked up lil family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWalker will likely not be the only change to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/snl\/\" id=\"auto-tag_snl_1\" data-tag=\"snl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SNL<\/a> cast as the show enters its 51st season on NBC. In an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/puck.news\/lorne-michaels-on-colbert-trump-the-future-of-snl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Puck<\/a> last week, executive producer Lorne Michaels said that some changes were likely, though he specified that James Austin Johnson would continue playing President Donald Trump on the show. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWalker joined SNL as a featured player in the 2022-23 season and became part of the repertory cast last year. Prior to joining the show, he wrote for Netflix\u2019s Big Mouth and Freeform\u2019s Everything\u2019s Trash. He also has a half-hour stand-up special on Hulu and hosts a podcast called My Favorite Lyrics.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn an Instagram story separate from the above-quoted post, Walker added, \u201cJust to be clear, this is good news! It was just time for me to do something different. Please don\u2019t be hitting me with the \u2018I\u2019m so sorry\u2019 \u2014 we not on that at ALL.
