ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. \u2014 An officer-involved shooting in Atlantic Beach has left Mayport Road blocked off, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/p>\n

The presence and blockage is concentrated near Dutton Island Road, at the RaceTrac gas station.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.<\/p>\n

Action News Jax is currently on scene and working to learn more. We began receiving viewer reports about the situation around 7:30 PM Monday evening.<\/p>\n

The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office said it will be holding a news briefing in the near future.<\/p>\n
