Dallas-based Elara Caring\u2019s chief operating officer Ananth Mohan has been appointed as CEO of the national provider of home-based care.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mohan succeeds Scott Powers, who\u2019s leaving the company after nearly six years as CEO.<\/p>\n

\u201cScott helped lay the foundation for the Elara we are today\u2014strong, united, and purpose-driven,\u201d Mohan said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m honored to step into this role and accelerate our growth and expand and enhance the impact of our life-changing mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

Under Powers\u2019 leadership, Elara Caring said it evolved into one of the most trusted and integrated providers of high-acuity care in the home.<\/p>\n

Powers helped unite the organization under a shared mission, strengthened its infrastructure, and led significant growth across clinical and non-clinical services, technology, and talent. His tenure has been marked by a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care wherever people call home, the company said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a privilege to lead Elara through a period of meaningful growth and impact,\u201d Powers said in a statement. \u201cI have every confidence that Ananth will build on this momentum and continue to advance Elara\u2019s mission with vision and heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elara said that Mohan brings more than two decades of experience leading complex healthcare organizations and has served as Elara Caring\u2019s chief operating officer since 2021. In that role, he led Elara\u2019s business units and played a critical role in enterprise-wide transformation, working closely with clinical teams, operational leaders, and partners to drive performance and expand access to care.<\/p>\n
