{"id":176629,"date":"2025-08-26T09:14:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T09:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/176629\/"},"modified":"2025-08-26T09:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T09:14:08","slug":"darby-man-charged-with-murder-in-death-of-his-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/176629\/","title":{"rendered":"Darby man charged with murder in death of his partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Darby police have arrested a borough man in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delcotimes.com\/2025\/08\/19\/victim-in-darby-shooting-identified\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last week\u2019s domestic killing<\/a>\u00a0of a woman.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Darby police along with the assistance of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division arrested Ahmir Jamal Jackson, 24, in the death of Myanna Quin.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting happened on Aug. 18 about 2:10 a.m. in the unit block of South Seventh Street.<\/p>\n<p>Darby Police Chief Joseph Gabe said the shooting was arose from a domestic dispute between the couple.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson was picked up Saturday and arraigned before District Judge Elizabeth S. Gallard on first- and third-degree murder and weapons charges. Bail was denied.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson was taken to the Delaware County prison, the George W.
