This week, Scott Frost’s UCF Knights play the first game of Frost’s second stint as\u00a0their\u00a0head coach. They’ll begin this new era against a team that’s also gone through quite a bit of change over the last nine months: the defending Conference USA champion Jacksonville State Gamecocks. The game also marks the first ever matchup between the two programs who have seen significant rises through the college football ranks over the last 25 years.<\/p>\n
If Frost can secure the victory, it would be his 14th straight for UCF after going 13-0 as the Knights’ head coach in 2017 before leaving to take head coach position at Nebraska<\/a><\/b>, his alma mater.
