According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, southbound traffic in the area is currently being rerouted onto Emerson Street.<\/p>\n
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 All southbound lanes of I-95 at Emerson Street in Jacksonville are currently closed due to a “crash with injuries,” according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n
JSO says southbound traffic in the area at this time is being rerouted onto Emerson Street.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department told First Coast News one person was taken from the scene of the crash to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority told First Coast News one of their buses was involved in the crash, however, no passengers were onboard. JTA also said the driver was not injured.<\/p>\n
