The continuing legal battle between NASCAR and two of its teams<\/a> continued to heat up Monday, as Front Row Motorsports and 23XI Racing responded to a filing by NASCAR that it was planning to transfer charters to an unknown team<\/a> by saying that selling those charters \u201cwill put them out of business.\u201d Additionally, the teams say they \u201cwill suffer irreparable harm because not being chartered will give drivers and sponsors the option to leave; Tyler Reddick<\/b> of 23XI has such a clause in his contract.\u201d Both sides are due in court Thursday before U.S. District Judge Kenneth Bell<\/b> as 23XI and FRM \u201cseek an injunction to prevent NASCAR from selling the charters until the case has been settled.\u201d In Monday\u2019s filing, the teams say they have \u201csmoking-gun documents\u201d that show NASCAR wants to force competitors to sign \u201cone-sided\u201d charter deals.
