Walker: The Jaguars drafted him first overall in 2022 and picked up his fifth-year option, so he is signed through 2026. He has had back-to-back, double-digit sacks seasons, putting up 10 last year and 10.5 a season ago. The Eagles would have to give up a first-round pick next year to make it happen, but it’s a pick that, if they do what is expected and make another deep playoff push, that pick would be closer to the second round anyway. The Jaguars don’t have a first-round pick next year after trading it away in the deal to land Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter in the 2025 draft. The Eagles would include Kelee Ringo and one of the three third-round picks they are expected to have next spring. A sweetener might be a fourth in 2027. His salary cap charge is $11.8 million this year and $15.1M next season. And, oh yeah, Walker played at the University of Georgia.

NFL roster cuts tracker: Eagles news, updates, trades, more – BGN
Now that the final preseason game is behind them, the Philadelphia Eagles will need to make some tough decisions on the way to finalizing their 53-man roster ahead of the league deadline on Tuesday, August 26 at 4:00 PM ET.

Eagles rookie progress reports at the end of training camp – PhillyVoice
Round 1: LB Jihaad Campbell: During the spring, Vic Fangio stated that we likely wouldn’t see Campbell practicing until August, but when we showed up on Day 1 of training camp in July, Campbell was out there almost as a full participant. His blend of size and athleticism was immediately apparent. Throughout the summer, Campbell was fun to watch, as he gets to where he’s going in a flash. But also, as the summer progressed, he made more and more plays as his read and react skills improved along with his comfort in Fangio’s scheme. There were notable improvements against the run, in coverage, and his timing on blitzes. Campbell is highly likely to start Week 1. The feeling here is that he’ll be a good player from the jump, even if far from a finished product. The sky’s the limit. On a side note, Campbell was not particularly impressive when he lined up as an edge rusher. Once he has a foundation as a very good off-ball linebacker in Fangio’s scheme, the Eagles could look to coach up his pass rush repertoire, but that’s probably on the back burner for now.

Roster Update – Iggles Blitz
There weren’t too many tough choices here. I am not a huge fan of keeping Toth, but he was the #1 LG for a lot of the summer. There isn’t another OL that I’m scared to lose. Trevor Keegan and Cameron Williams make sense for the practice squad. I hated cutting Patrick Johnson. It wouldn’t shock me if he stayed and they went light elsewhere. He could be a good STer. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that Howie Roseman is looking for the best 53 players. He will be checking cuts by other teams. He will be making calls to see who might be available via trade. The Eagles front office will be very busy for the next 48 or so hours. Always be looking. You never know when you’ll find someone who can help you, either now or down the road.

NFL Preseason Week 3 rookie report card: Mason Graham, Jayden Higgins among seven A grades – NFL.com
TY ROBINSON: C+ … Robinson did not record any stats against the Jets, but he showed he could give strong effort as a backup to starters Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. He kept his shoulders square to beat man-up blocks and double teams at the 3-, 4- and 5-technique spots. We brought together several members of the SB Nation staff and asked them to drop their predictions in various categories, from awards to division winners and more. The responses ran the gamut from your standard “chalk” selections to a few curveballs. Confidence in the Baltimore Ravens seems to be high, as well as in the Houston Texans, at least when it comes to winning the AFC South.
