{"id":177625,"date":"2025-08-26T17:52:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T17:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/177625\/"},"modified":"2025-08-26T17:52:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T17:52:10","slug":"trump-says-cracker-barrel-should-restore-old-logo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/177625\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump says Cracker Barrel should restore old logo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> A Cracker Barrel sign featuring the old logo hangs on the outside of a restaurant on August 21, 2025 in Homestead, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Raedle | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> weighed in Tuesday on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/08\/21\/cracker-barrel-cbrl-new-logo-branding.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">controversial rebranding<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/CBRL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cracker Barrel Old Country Store<\/a>, writing that, &#8220;Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll) and manage the company better than ever before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They got a Billion Dollars worth of free publicity if they play their cards right,&#8221; Trump said in a Truth Social post, just a day after Cracker Barrel t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/08\/25\/cracker-barrel-cbrl-backlash-logo-rebranding.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">old customers the company<\/a> could have handled its rebranding better than it did.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Very tricky to do, but a great opportunity. Have a major News Conference today. Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again,&#8221; Trump wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The White House&#8217;s official X account later tweeted, &#8220;Go woke, go broke,&#8221; with a reimagined Cracker Barrel logo featuring Trump sitting next to the company&#8217;s iconic barrel, with the words &#8220;America First&#8221; and &#8220;America is Back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s comments came nearly a week after his son Donald Trump Jr. blasted the company for the rebranding, and after the company&#8217;s stock dropped after the new logo was unveiled.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WTF is wrong with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CrackerBarrel\" target=\"_blank\">@CrackerBarrel<\/a>??!&#8221; the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DonaldJTrumpJr\/status\/1958279379408372204\" target=\"_blank\">younger Trump wrote Wednesday<\/a> on X, echoing criticism from some conservatives.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its rebranding, Cracker Barrel removed the image on its logo of its &#8220;Uncle Herschel&#8221; character leaning against a barrel.<\/p>\n<p>Read more CNBC politics coverage<\/p>\n<p>The new logo also ditched the yellow barrel and the phrase &#8220;Old Country Store,&#8221; leaving just the words &#8220;Cracker Barrel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Since the rebranding was unveiled last week, the new logo has been roasted on social media as &#8220;soulless,&#8221; &#8220;bland&#8221; and &#8220;generic.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The new Cracker Barrel logo is seen on a menu inside the restaurant on August 21, 2025 in Homestead, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Raedle | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>In a statement Monday, Cracker Barrel said, &#8220;If the last few days have shown us anything, it&#8217;s how deeply people care about Cracker Barrel.
