Cracker Barrel<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/23\/business\/cracker-barrels-marketing-fiasco-shows-investors-are-making-woke-a-massive-risk-factor\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cracker Barrel<\/a> \u2013 known for its Southern fixins like grits and biscuits \u2013 has ditched its old-timey decor in favor of white paint and fewer tchotchkes, and scrubbed fan-favorites like folksy farmer Uncle Herschel from its logo.<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s demand sent shares in the embattled company soaring 5% by approximately 11:15 a.m. ET \u2013 after the company\u2019s valuation shed $100 million last week following the new logo\u2019s release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRemember, in just a short period of time I made the United States of America the \u2018HOTTEST\u2019 Country anywhere in the World. One year ago, it was \u2018DEAD.\u2019 Good luck!\u201d Trump added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump weighed in on the controversial remodeling just a day after <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/23\/media\/msnbc-host-jonathan-capehart-sick-of-snowflakes-slamming-cracker-barrel-logo-redesign\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cracker Barrel<\/a> issued a wimpy apology, admitting that \u201cwe won\u2019t always get everything right the first time, but we\u2019ll keep testing, learning and listening to our guests and employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant that serves breakfast all day. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The Tennessee-based company tried to calm customers who mourned the nostalgic chain\u2019s homey feel, with promises to keep the rocking chairs on its porches, fireplaces, peg games at tables, knickknacks in gift shops and kitschy antiques around the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile our logo and remodels may be making headlines, our bigger focus is still right where it belongs \u2026 in the kitchen and on your plate,\u201d Cracker Barrel added.<\/p>\n<p>Customers were quick to bash the lame apology as inauthentic \u2013 with one griping that <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/20\/lifestyle\/cracker-barrel-introduces-controversial-new-logo-and-menu-changes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cracker Barrel<\/a> had \u201ckicked Uncle Herschel to the curb\u201d and is now \u201cpaying the price.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cracker Barrel\u2019s CEO Julie Felss Massino. FOX News<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOwn it and stop making excuses,\u201d they added in a comment on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Another user chimed in: \u201cThe biggest insult to your customers is acting like you hear them but doing the complete opposite\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third jabbed: \u201cI seriously don\u2019t know what the purpose of this post was because you make it very clear that you have heard each of us, and you don\u2019t care.
