These apps mostly lack homescreen\/launcher icons and interfaces, while they don\u2019t appear in the Play Store\u2019s main updates list alongside what you download.<\/p>\n<p>Google is now providing a centralized place to see and update them.<\/p>\n<p>To access (on most Android devices), open the Settings app &gt; Google &gt; switch to the \u201cAll services\u201d tab &gt; scroll to \u201cPrivacy &amp; security\u201d &gt; System services. On Pixel, start by tapping the top card with your name and profile image in Settings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>Google lists the following services by \u201cUp to date\u201d and \u201cAvailable updates\u201d:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Adaptive Connective Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Android System Intelligence<\/strong>: Live Caption, Smart Reply, more<\/li>\n<li><strong>Android System Key Verifier<\/strong>: Google Messages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Android System SafetyCore<\/strong>: Sensitive Content Warnings in Google Messages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Android System WebView<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross-Device Services<\/strong>: Android app streaming on Chromebooks<\/li>\n<li><strong>Device Connectivity Service:<\/strong> Notification sync between the Pixel Tablet and phones\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Device Health Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Partner Setup<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Play Protect Service<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.gms\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Google Play services<\/a><\/strong>: Fast Pair, Quick Share, Unknown Tracker Alerts\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Play Services for AR<\/strong>: ARCore<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Partner Setup<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Search Engine Selector<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Settings Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>SIM Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>System parental controls<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These services automatically update in the background, but this page lets you do it immediately (if available). You can open a listing to read the Play Store description, but this page lacks version numbers. As such, you have to visit the App info page in an oversight that Google will hopefully address.
