ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas \u2013 A man with a history of theft arrests, including the 2018 theft of a live shark from a San Antonio aquarium, has been arrested once again in connection with a series of property crimes in Atascosa County.<\/p>\n

Antone Sinclair Shannon, previously arrested for the shark theft, was also taken into custody in June 2025 after investigators recovered a stolen antique tractor in Bandera County. He was charged with the theft of a boat that occurred the same night, but bonded out shortly after the arrest.<\/p>\n

This month, while investigating another property crime in northern Atascosa County involving a stolen welding machine, investigators obtained evidence linking Shannon to the theft. Working with the Bandera County Sheriff\u2019s Office recovered the stolen welder and Shannon was arrested.<\/p>\n
