{"id":178536,"date":"2025-08-27T01:59:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T01:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/178536\/"},"modified":"2025-08-27T01:59:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T01:59:11","slug":"upstate-ny-dog-boarders-charged-with-animal-torture-after-21-dogs-die-in-their-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/178536\/","title":{"rendered":"Upstate NY dog boarders charged with animal torture after 21 dogs die in their care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two owners of an upstate New York dog boarding facility have been charged with animal torture after 21 dogs died in their care, according to authorities. <\/p>\n<p>Robert Palulis, 48, and Anastasia Palulis, 38, were arrested at their business, Anastasia\u2019s Acres Dog Boarding in Argyle, on Sunday after cops were called to check on \u201ca report of deceased dogs at the facility,\u201d Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtoncountyny.gov\/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1510&amp;fbclid=IwY2xjawMbHdJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHl6xWe56cQEay-2D_wMEpRHIXSFCbJL30I_9k0FiWKy50ZX8hZsWuF3eqmR7_aem_7u9HRi95CaJWgAuTIbM5hw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced in a press release Tuesday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cops discovered 21 dogs dead and one pooch that needed to be taken to an emergency animal clinic for care, Murphy said.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Palulis, 48, was arrested on Sunday after cops were called to check on \u201ca report of deceased dogs at the facility.\u201d Washington County Sheriff<\/p>\n<p>Anastasia Palulis, 38, was also arrested at their boarding facility, Anastasia\u2019s Acres Dog Boarding business in Argyle.
