{"id":178782,"date":"2025-08-27T04:13:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T04:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/178782\/"},"modified":"2025-08-27T04:13:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T04:13:11","slug":"man-arrested-after-making-bomb-threat-at-dallas-ice-facility-dhs-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/178782\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested after making bomb threat at Dallas ICE facility, DHS says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">A man was arrested after he showed up to a Dallas office of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and claimed to have a bomb in his backpack, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/news\/2025\/08\/26\/law-enforcement-arrests-suspect-who-made-bomb-threat-ice-dallas-facility\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/news\/2025\/08\/26\/law-enforcement-arrests-suspect-who-made-bomb-threat-ice-dallas-facility\">Department of Homeland Security.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">DHS said in a news release that just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, the man, later identified as Bratton Dean Wilkinson, 35, arrived at the Dallas ICE facility in the 8100 block of N. Stemmons Freeway. Wilkinson showed a security officer what he claimed was a \u201cdetonator\u201d on his wrist, and claimed to have a bomb in his backpack, the release said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The threat caused a shelter in place to be issued for the facility as Dallas police responded with a bomb squad, according to the release. Police later issued an all-clear at about 7:20 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Wilkinson was taken into custody by local law enforcement, the release said. He did not appear in a search of the Dallas County jail log Tuesday night.
