But the Blues aren’t finished yet, with the clock rapidly ticking down on Monday’s transfer deadline.

It’s been a summer of change in west London, with the likes of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap arriving in the capital. Stars including Noni Madueke, Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have been sold to make room for the new faces, with Chelsea starting their season with four points from their opening two games. Maresca may well be confident of orchestrating a title charge if the Blues can build on their promising early-season form. And Express Sport takes a look at five transfer deals Chelsea may still to complete before the deadline.

Bring in Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea have been chasing Alejandro Garnacho this summer as they look to further reinforce their attack.

The Argentine winger has been pushing for a move away from Manchester United and is one of four first-team stars currently training away from the rest of the squad.

Chelsea have offered United a number of players in an effort to reduce the £50m transfer fee for Garnacho. And they may be able to prise the 21-year-old away from Old Trafford on the cheap as the Red Devils have seemingly planned for life without him.

Bring in Xavi Simons

Xavi Simons is another priority signing for Chelsea, with the RB Leipzig attacker pursuing a move to the Premier League.

Simons has exhibited his prodigious talents during his time in the Bundesliga and netted 18 goals and 20 assists during his side’s last two league campaigns.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with the 22-year-old ahead of the deadline, but the transfer fee could be a sticking point as Leipzig are believed to want more than £60m for the star.

Offload Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson was Chelsea’s first-choice striker last season as he registered 10 Premier League goals. But he appears to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge following the arrivals of Pedro and Delap.

Bayern Munich are closing in on a loan move, with Aston Villa also thought to be interested. The Blues are said to be willing to accept a temporary departure if it comes with an obligation to buy.

Offload Christopher Nkunku

Christopher Nkunku could barely get a Premier League start last season. And with Chelsea’s two new strikers now ahead of him in the pecking order as well as Jackson, his future prospects in west London will be harmed.

Aston Villa could swoop for Nkunku if they don’t go for Jackson, while the France international has also been linked with a return to RB Leipzig. And if he agrees to return to the Red Bull Arena, the transfer could prove to be a catalyst in Simons moving in the other direction.

Offload Tyrique George

Chelsea reportedly offered Tyrique George to Manchester United as part of their efforts to sign Garnacho. But the Red Devils ultimately rejected the deal.

Roma are now believed to be the frontrunners to land the 19-year-old, who featured 38 times for the Blues last season. And his departure could ultimately help fund the acquisitions of Garnacho and Simons.

Chelsea have welcomed a host of faces to Stamford Bridge this summer, while offloading players who weren’t part…

[45
12448,6075,36652,3902,3242,221,62,101321,3903,67,132,68,62620
0":"post-179118","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-soccer","8":"tag-alejandro-garnacho","9":"tag-chelsea-fc","10":"tag-christopher-nkunku","11":"tag-football-section","12":"tag-nicolas-jackson","13":"tag-soccer","14":"tag-sports","15":"tag-transfer-deals","16":"tag-transfer-news-section","17":"tag-united-states","18":"tag-unitedstates","19":"tag-us","20":"tag-xavi-simons
["GET
