But the list also includes standout innovation coming straight out of Dallas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two Dallas companies just landed on TIME\u2019s 2025 list of the 100 most influential companies\u2014and a third, now a $2 billion brand, started here. They join the likes of Waymo, OpenAI, and Amazon on the global list.<\/strong><br \/>Dallas-based <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/the-last-word-ltks-amber-venz-box-on-competing-with-tech-giants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LTK<\/a>, a global force in influencer commerce, and <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/hear-the-howl-dallas-de-extinction-company-colossal-revives-dire-wolf-using-ancient-dna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Colossal Biosciences<\/a>, the biotech company working to restore extinct species and protect endangered ones, were both named to the list. Poppi, the prebiotic soda brand that launched in Dallas before relocating to Austin, also earned a spot after its recent acquisition by PepsiCo.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its fifth year, TIME\u2019s Most Influential Companies list spotlights 100 businesses shaping the future across six categories: Leaders, Innovators, Disrupters, Titans, Pioneers, and Impact Award recipients. The platform lets creators monetize content while offering brands a direct, data-driven connection to engaged shoppers.<\/p>\n<p>TIME called LTK the \u201clargest influencer marketing platform by revenue.\u201d The company connects more than 40 million shoppers each month\u2014including 38% of U.S. Gen Z and millennial women\u2014to over 8,000 retailers. That traffic has driven more than $5 billion in annual sales. Its app, <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/dallas-based-ltk-launches-new-app-that-lets-consumers-watch-creators-near-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">redesigned this year<\/a> with a video-first focus, complements integrations with platforms like TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>LTK\u2019s creator network is \u201coverwhelmingly\u201d female, and hundreds have earned $1 million or more through the platform, according to Time. With generative content and deepfakes on the rise, co-founder and president Amber Venz Box told the publication, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/collections\/time100-companies-2025\/7289649\/ltk\/?filters=pioneers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you rely even more on a trusted human<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Colossal\u2019s bet on biotech<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-275450\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/BenLamm_DW_970.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"970\" height=\"464\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-275450\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Colossal Co-Founder and CEO Ben Lamm holding a \u201cde-extincted\u201d dire wolf pup. [Photo: Colossal Biosciences]<\/p>\n<p>Also named as a TIME100 Pioneer in 2025, Dallas\u2019 Colossal Biosciences is aiming to do what no company has done before: \u201cde-extinct\u201d species while using the same science to help save those that remain.<\/p>\n<p>Best known for its moonshot mission to bring back the woolly mammoth, Colossal has spent the past year turning science fiction headlines into real-world breakthroughs.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 alone, Colossal announced\u00a0the creation of gene-edited mice with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/meet-the-colossal-woolly-mouse-created-by-dallas-based-decacorn-colossal-biosciences\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">woolly, mammoth-like coats<\/a> and gave birth to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/hear-the-howl-dallas-de-extinction-company-colossal-revives-dire-wolf-using-ancient-dna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">three engineered dire wolves<\/a> using ancient DNA. The company is still working toward reviving the woolly mammoth by 2028 and also collaborating with the University of Melbourne to reintroduce the Tasmanian tiger.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Colossal is applying its tools to living species\u2014working to protect red wolves, Asian elephants, and other animals at risk of extinction.\u00a0 \u201cAs I\u2019ve gotten into the conservation community and\u2026the biotech community, it became abundantly clear that we need <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/collections\/time100-companies-2025\/7289644\/colossal-biosciences\/?filters=pioneers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new tools and technologies for conservation<\/a>,\u201d co-founder and CEO Ben Lamm told TIME.<\/p>\n<p>The company has raised $200 million to date, backed by investors ranging from <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/mammoth-interest-the-cia-invests-in-dallas-based-colossal-biosciences\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the CIA<\/a> to celebrities like <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/colossal-launches-the-colossal-foundation-with-50m-for-biovault-biobanking-genetic-rescues-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tom Brady and Paris Hilton to tech billionaire Thomas Tull<\/a>. Following a 2020 rebrand, the low-sugar prebiotic soda gained national traction, capitalizing on the wave of wellness trends and securing shelf space across the country.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Poppi reported $500 million in revenue. A few months later, PepsiCo acquired the brand in a deal reportedly worth nearly $2 billion. Though the company moved its headquarters to Austin in 2021, its original product and early momentum were <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/texas-based-poppi-pops-the-top-on-funding-round-proves-small-players-can-thrive-in-beverage-space\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">born in North Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in Texas, Houston\u2019s Fervo Energy also made the list.
