Bay Melnick Virgolino might only be 10 years old, but he already has the stage presence of a veteran rock superstar, as she showed on Tuesday\u2019s (August 26) live episode of America\u2019s Got Talent<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer and guitarist from New York City took to the stage for his quarterfinals performance, wowing the judges with his rendition of the Joan Jett & the Blackhearts classic \u201cI Love Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll.\u201d Donned in a black leather jacket and leather pants, Virgolino rocked out, strutting up and down the stage, shredding his guitar and amping up the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow, wow, wow!\u201d Sofia Vergara<\/a> said. \u201cWhat a way to close the show. You\u2019re like a mini rock star! I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Simon Cowell<\/a> was also full of praise, pointing to the audience\u2019s wild reaction as proof that Virgolino has something special. \u201cHonestly, you\u2019re so young, but you came out here with this real attitude, confidence, stage presence, the right song, I mean, you absolutely nailed that,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, for a start, you\u2019re only 10 years old, and you\u2019re doing this already?\u201d added Mel B, though she did note that his vocals \u201cweren\u2019t perfect.\u201d This comment received an \u201cOh, come on!\u201d from Cowell. However, Mel B<\/a> told the young performer that his guitar playing was \u201con point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Howie Mandel<\/a> heaped praise on Virgolino, saying, \u201cThis kid is amazing. You\u2019re a star, you\u2019re a rock star. America, vote!\u201d<\/p>\n

Before he took to the stage, the show aired a video package in which Virgolino\u2019s mom revealed that her son had started learning to play the guitar at the age of 3, after he kept begging for lessons.<\/p>\n

Virgolino also opened up about what had happened since impressing the judges with his audition, where he performed Lenny Kravitz\u2019s \u201cAre You Gonna Go My Way.\u201d The young star said Kravitz had responded to him on social media, telling him he is \u201ctruly gifted\u201d and looking forward to playing with him one day. He also said people in the street have started stopping him to take photos.<\/p>\n

Fans will have to tune in to tonight\u2019s episode (Wednesday, August 27) to find out if Virgolino received enough votes to advance. Of the 11 acts that performed, only three will move on, in addition to Mel B\u2019s Golden Buzzer choice, rapper Mama Duke.<\/p>\n
