DALLAS \u2014 A man was arrested Monday after he allegedly arrived at a Dallas U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office and claimed to have a bomb in his backpack, according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials.<\/p>\n

The man, identified as Bratton Dean Wilkinson, 36, arrived at the facility shortly after 6:30 p.m. and showed a security officer what he claimed was a “detonator” on his wrist, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The facility was briefly ordered to shelter in place, the officer called 911, and police responded with a bomb squad, according to a news release.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wilkinson was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats, and police issued an all-clear shortly before 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The incident also comes after officials said multiple people were charged in connection with an alleged “ambush”<\/a> against officers at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado on July 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n
