The 16 races on Fox/FS1 this season have averaged 1.38 million viewers, above the 1.07 million that NBC/USA/CNBC had. Fox drew 779,000 viewers on Sunday for the race from Milwaukee, up 6% from the same race last year.

Yankees-Red Sox last weekend was ESPN’s second-best “Sunday Night Baseball” game of the season to date, averaging 2.57 million viewers. That’s behind only Yankees-Dodgers from June 3 (2.73 million). “SNB” remains up 13% on ESPN in what is likely the network’s final season with that window.

CBS wrapped another record WNBA season, even with Caitlin Clark missing a number of Fever games this year. The network’s mini-package of games averaged 1.17 million viewers, up 6% from last year, which was also a record.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona saw a 33% jump on the CW on Friday, averaging 1.09 million viewers.

The drama around Tommy Fleetwood’s first career PGA Tour victory led to a big increase on TV at the Tour Championship, with NBC drawing the most-viewed non-major of the season, notes my colleague Josh Carpenter.

ESPN on Sunday had its best start to the U.S. Open since 2022, which was Serena Williams’ final appearance at the major. ABC’s coverage led into the Little League World Series Championship on Sunday.

Heading into its first NFL game next week, YouTube is capturing 13.4% of all TV watch-time in the U.S., according to data from the Nielsen Gauge index for July. YouTube has been tops among all media companies for six straight months now, and leads No. 2 Disney (inclusive of ESPN networks) by a wide margin (the Mouse House sits at 9.4%). No. 3 is Netflix with 8.8% of U.S. TV usage, followed by NBCU (7.6%) and Paramount networks (7%).

Major League Pickleball drew 433,000 viewers for its finals on Saturday on CBS, marking the second-best pro pickleball audience yet on U.S. airwaves.

CLARIFICATION: SBJ ran a story last week noting that YES Network was leading SNY in the N.Y. market, but the figures included some Nielsen-measured data that was for internal purposes only, creating an apples-to-oranges comparison. Heading into the final month of the season, SNY’s viewership in the market is up slightly vs. the competition (+3%). The Mets’ RSN also has a 27% lead among adults 25-54.

IndyCar will head into its championship race with viewership up 28% on Fox compared to same point on…

[49
101778,1281,15328,101777,5723,41318,53809,1266,1406,2228,62,67,132,68,101776,232,3894
0":"post-180103","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-wnba","8":"tag-audience-analysis","9":"tag-boston-red-sox","10":"tag-cbs","11":"tag-data-and-insights","12":"tag-espn","13":"tag-fox-sports","14":"tag-indycar","15":"tag-mlb","16":"tag-nascar","17":"tag-new-york-yankees","18":"tag-sports","19":"tag-united-states","20":"tag-unitedstates","21":"tag-us","22":"tag-usta","23":"tag-wnba","24":"tag-youtube
["GET
