PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — There is some exciting news about this year’s 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade.<\/p>\n

GMA’s Sam Champion, who is often a parade special guest, made a big announcement on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Design of a GMA balloon that you’ll see along the parkway this year is underway!<\/p>\n

Philadelphia’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to feature new GMA balloon<\/p>\n

It will be a larger-than-life version of the show’s mascot, Ray.<\/p>\n

More than 15 people at Starbound Entertainment are working on the balloon.<\/p>\n

They gave GMA a preview of the initial clay mold.<\/p>\n

Over the next four weeks, designers will work to bring the 45-foot-tall Ray to life.<\/p>\n

That’s as tall as a four to five-story building.<\/p>\n

Keep an eye out for Ray during the 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27.
