The Venice Film Festival is official underway, and the Clooneys wasted no time<\/a> in arriving. Of course, the family didn\u2019t have far to travel, given that they own a house<\/a>, called Villa Oleandra (and estimated to be worth around $100 million), in Italy, along the coast of Lake Como. To celebrate the annual festival a little early, the Clooneys hosted a small but very starry soir\u00e9e at their home.<\/p>\n

It was quite the Hollywood affair, with the family being joined by famous friends like Adam Sandler<\/a>, Laura Dern<\/a>, Jim Broadbent, Shailene Woodley<\/a>, Greta Gerwig<\/a> and her husband, and fellow filmmaker Noah Baumbach\u2014guests who will likely attend the film festival as well.<\/p>\n

But the most surprising guests at George and Amal\u2019s f\u00eate were their eight year-old twins<\/a>, Ella and Alexander, who are rarely seen in public. The little Clooneys were captured in a series of photos that can be seen here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Clooneys are seen arriving at the Venice Film Festival, after hosting people at their Lake Como villa. <\/p>\n

For the outing, Amal chose a summery white dress, which she accessorized with a large straw hat featuring a rope band detail. Meanwhile, George chose a navy blue tee, which he paired with matching slacks and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Their kids looked like the picture of posh Italian style too. Ella wore a denim minidress and blue crossbody, while Alexander sported a blue pinstripe top and white linen shorts.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, George sat down for an interview<\/a> with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, where he raved about his children. \u201cThe kids are seven, about to be eight, which is a pretty great age. They\u2019re really curious and funny … and make us laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also gave a shoutout to his wife, saying: \u201cAmal and I are having a really great time in life. We were here with you once before and I remember we said we\u2019d never had an argument; we still haven\u2019t.\u201d He jokingly added, \u201cWe\u2019re trying to find something to fight about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in July, Amal also gushed<\/a> about George, saying: \u201cI have a partner in life who is so supportive of what I do.
