Fans of the late \u201990s sitcom Spin City got a major treat over the weekend when two of its biggest stars reunited at Toronto’s Fan Expo.<\/p>\n

Heather Locklear<\/a>, 63, shared the sweet moment on Instagram Tuesday, posting a smiling snap with her former co-star Michael J. Fox, 64.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘With one of my all time favorites,’ the actress gushed in the caption.<\/p>\n

The Dallas and Melrose Place alum stunned in a floral summer dress as she leaned into Fox, who looked as youthful as ever while wrapping his arm around her.<\/p>\n

The pair first teamed up when Locklear joined Spin City in its fourth season, playing savvy campaign manager Caitlin Moore alongside Fox\u2019s character, Mike Flaherty, the deputy mayor of New York City<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She arrived on the series after Fox revealed his Parkinson\u2019s diagnosis and ultimately stepped away from the show.<\/p>\n

‘Michael J. Fox is all shades of fantastic. What a wonderful picture,’ one follower raved.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another gushed, ‘Two legends!!!’\u00a0 while someone else declared, ‘TV royalty both.’<\/p>\n

Last December, Locklear spilled some behind-the-scenes tea on what it was really like working with Spin City\u2019s two leading men \u2014 Fox and Sheen.<\/p>\n

\u2018I did Spin City with two different costars, Michael J. Fox and Charlie Sheen,\u2019 she told the crowd during a panel at \u201990s Con in Daytona Beach, Fla.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018They\u2019re brilliant. They know how \u2026 one is fast talking and the other is slow.\u2019<\/p>\n

Locklear admitted the wildly different acting styles forced her to adjust on the fly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018The timing [difference] between Michael and Charlie I had to get used to. Michael is a fast guy, Charlie is mmmhmmm,\u2019 she explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018So [the challenge] was really having to get my timing better. They get to be who they are and I\u2019d get to be \u2026 not who I am.\u2019<\/p>\n

Fox himself has opened up about his time on the sitcom, telling The New York Times in 2019 that his Parkinson\u2019s battle was already making things tough by the time he stepped away.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The star revealed how he leaned heavily on exaggerated expressions and physical comedy, what he called \u2018high-level muggery.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I could pull a face; I could do a double take. And one of the reasons I left Spin City was that I felt my face hardening,\u2019 he admitted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘If you watch episodes from the last couple of seasons, you\u2019ll see I would anchor myself against a desk or the wall. Eventually it was too burdensome.\u2019<\/p>\n

Even with the challenges, Fox never walked away from acting entirely \u2014 and fans are about to see him return once again with a highly anticipated role in the upcoming season of Shrinking.<\/p>\n

Fox was later replaced by Charlie Sheen, who played Charlie Crawford, before the sitcom wrapped in May 2002 after six seasons; (seen with Denise Richards in 2001)<\/p>\n

The Back To The Future star last acted when he reprised his Good Wife character, Louis Canning, in the 2020 spinoff The Good Fight.<\/p>\n

But Fox will now make a return to the screen for the third season of the Emmy-nominated Apple TV+ series Shrinking, which stars Jason Segal and Harrison Ford.<\/p>\n

Jeff Daniels, Sherry Cola and Isabella Gomez, will also join the cast. It’s not yet known which character Fox will play.<\/p>\n

Emotional fans took to social media to share their delight over the news amid the star’s health woes.<\/p>\n

‘My admiration for this man has no limits! I’m happy to see him acting again,’ one fan gushed in a Reddit post announcing the news.<\/p>\n

They continued: ‘Having Parkinson’s disease in my immediate family, I appreciate how much he has done for raising awareness of the disease, and I have enjoyed how he has incorporated the disease into his acting. Looking forward to seeing what he will be doing in Shrinking.’<\/p>\n
