Jordan, the Ingham County, Michigan, dispatcher, said the last big event that she watched with coworkers was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s 2018 nuptials. Now she thinks they might watch Swift and Kelce\u2019s wedding together, especially after what happened.<\/p>\n
After the first scanner flub, an officer informed her, \u201cYou had an open mic there,\u201d and then deadpanned, \u201cThat\u2019s great news about Taylor Swift.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jordan tried to fix the problem, but laughter erupted when she continued: \u201cDispatch. I\u2019m clear. Yeah. Aren\u2019t you happy about Taylor Swift?\u201d <\/p>\n
Jordan had been eagerly awaiting the news from the singer, whose hit song \u201cShake It Off\u201d spoke to her. \u201cWe do a hard job, lots of dark things, so it\u2019s kind of nice to be able to laugh a little,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Officers played along with the scanner mishap, one asking, \u201cWell, give us some more gossip, at least.\u201d <\/p>\n
