Lionel Messi\u2019s two goals and an assist inside the final 15 minutes of the match have taken Inter Miami to a 3-1 victory over 10-man Orlando City and set up an MLS Leagues Cup final against Seattle Sounders.<\/p>\n
After missing two straight matches with a right thigh injury, Messi converted a penalty in the 77th minute to pull Inter level at 1-1, then combined with Jordi Alba to put the hosts ahead in the 88th in the second semifinal on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Telasco Segovia added a third in injury time as Miami returned to the final of the Leagues Cup, the cross-border competition featuring teams from Major League Soccer and Mexico\u2019s Liga MX.<\/p>\n
Inter won it in 2023, Messi\u2019s first season in MLS.<\/p>\n

The finalists are both assured of berths in the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup, with the winner of the third-place playoff between Orlando and Los Angeles also punching their ticket to the regional tournament.<\/p>\n
