{"id":181954,"date":"2025-08-28T08:24:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T08:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/181954\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T08:24:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T08:24:12","slug":"tropical-storm-to-bring-brief-relief-from-the-heat-in-socal-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/181954\/","title":{"rendered":"Tropical storm to bring brief relief from the heat in SoCal \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A dip in temperatures will offer relief from the heat to Southern California as parts of the region face the possibility of showers thanks to a tropical storm to the south.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause we\u2019ve got the clouds around and a little bit of a tropical connection, temperatures will be a touch cooler,\u201d said NBC4 Meteorologist Melissa Magee.<\/p>\n<p>As Tropical Storm Juliette takes aim for Baja California in Mexico, the Southland will experience a brief break from the hot temps.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe outer rain bands of what is still Tropical Storm Juliette is out in the Pacific,\u201d \u00a0Magee said. \u201cAs this works its way up to the north, we\u2019re just going to be dealing with some remnant moisture as we head into later on tonight and even into our Thursday, but that moisture will be on the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although nearly all of the region will experience high clouds, eastern Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and Orange County will be most susceptible to rain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think everybody is fair game but these locations, we\u2019re watching closely tomorrow,\u201d Magee said.<\/p>\n<p>The moisture is expected to be short-lived and is forecast to be out of the region by Friday.
