Eberechi Eze might come in to start for Arsenal immediately in their high-profile clash with Liverpool this weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the Gunners\u2019 dominant win against Leeds United last Saturday, Eberechi Eze<\/a> watched on from the stands at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

Eze seemed impressed with Viktor Gyokeres\u2019 goals<\/a> \u2013 he\u2019ll be one of many Arsenal<\/a> players he\u2019ll be excited to play alongside.<\/p>\n

And owing to injuries to Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, Eze might get that chance immediately at Anfield.<\/p>\n

But heading into Sunday\u2019s match, it\u2019s still not quite clear where Mikel Arteta will choose to deploy Eze, a midfielder who can excel in more than one position.<\/p>\n

Ian Wright gives his thoughts on Eberechi Eze\u2019s position at Arsenal<\/p>\n

That being said, Ian Wright<\/a> has now given his thoughts on where Eze will play whilst speaking on the \u2018Stick to Football\u2019 podcast.<\/p>\n

After discussing the England international\u2019s arrival in north London, Jamie Carragher asked Wright where he thought Eze would play for Arsenal.<\/p>\n

On his part, Eze seems happy to play anywhere for Arsenal<\/a>, just as long as he\u2019s on the pitch.<\/p>\n

But Carragher ultimately seemed to agree with Wright\u2019s idea that it will be on the left.<\/p>\n

Carragher initially asked: \u201cWhere does he play, Wrighty, in the team? If he eventually nails down a position, because the position when I look at the way Arsenal play right now, it almost feels like Declan Rice plays in that role the way he played at Crystal Palace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright replied: \u201cI think he\u2019d probably be on that left side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carragher: \u201cLeft wing?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright: \u201cLeft side coming in, coming inside, I don\u2019t know, Myles Lewis-Skelly on the outside, you know what I mean?<\/p>\n

\u201cHe weren\u2019t bothered, he said, listen, I just want to play and stamp myself and then go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eberechi Eze tipped to start against Liverpool at Anfield<\/p>\n

So far in his career, Eze has predominantly played as a number 10 for Palace, but it\u2019s clear that the former Queens Park Rangers maverick can thrive on the left too.<\/p>\n

And irrespective of position, Wright confessed that he wants Eze to start against Liverpool on Sunday \u2013 he wants to see Arteta\u2019s side go to Anfield to try and win.<\/p>\n

Wright added: \u201cI\u2019d probably like him to start him, because we have to go there to win. You know what I mean? <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019re doing this season, especially now, we\u2019ve got the injury with Saka and Odegaard, that happens.<\/p>\n
