{"id":182400,"date":"2025-08-28T12:26:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T12:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/182400\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T12:26:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T12:26:10","slug":"ian-wright-says-what-position-he-thinks-eberechi-eze-will-play-for-arsenal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/182400\/","title":{"rendered":"Ian Wright says what position he thinks Eberechi Eze will play for Arsenal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Eberechi Eze might come in to start for Arsenal immediately in their high-profile clash with Liverpool this weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the Gunners\u2019 dominant win against Leeds United last Saturday, <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/eberechi-eze\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eberechi Eze<\/a> watched on from the stands at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/how-eberechi-eze-reacted-after-viktor-gyokeres-scored-for-arsenal-against-leeds-what-gary-neville-said\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eze seemed impressed with Viktor Gyokeres\u2019 goals<\/a> \u2013 he\u2019ll be one of many <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/arsenal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arsenal<\/a> players he\u2019ll be excited to play alongside.<\/p>\n<p>And owing to injuries to Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, Eze might get that chance immediately at Anfield.<\/p>\n<p>But heading into Sunday\u2019s match, it\u2019s still not quite clear where Mikel Arteta will choose to deploy Eze, a midfielder who can excel in more than one position.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Wright gives his thoughts on Eberechi Eze\u2019s position at Arsenal<\/p>\n<p>That being said, <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/ian-wright\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ian Wright<\/a> has now given his thoughts on where Eze will play whilst speaking on the \u2018Stick to Football\u2019 podcast.<\/p>\n<p>After discussing the England international\u2019s arrival in north London, Jamie Carragher asked Wright where he thought Eze would play for Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p>On his part, <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/eberechi-eze-responds-when-asked-what-position-he-wants-to-play-at-arsenal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eze seems happy to play anywhere for Arsenal<\/a>, just as long as he\u2019s on the pitch.<\/p>\n<p>But Carragher ultimately seemed to agree with Wright\u2019s idea that it will be on the left.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"712\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2232153360-1024x712.jpg\" alt=\"Eberechi Eze during a training session at Arsenal\" class=\"wp-image-980456\" \/>Photo by David Price\/Arsenal FC via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/darren-bent-has-spotted-a-liverpool-weakness-which-arsenal-can-exploit-on-sunday-all-over-the-place\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Darren Bent has spotted a Liverpool weakness which Arsenal can exploit on Sunday, \u2018all over the place\u2026\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carragher initially asked: \u201cWhere does he play, Wrighty, in the team?
