After diving into sci-fi horror<\/a> with 2024\u2019s V\/H\/S\/Beyond<\/a>\u2014we\u2019re still stressing over that skydiving segment\u2014the long-running found-footage series<\/a> returns in October with a theme so perfect we can\u2019t believe it hasn\u2019t been done yet: V\/H\/S\/Halloween. A first trailer has arrived for the Shudder release, and it\u2019s full of tricks, treats, and screaming freak-outs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to tell exactly what\u2019s going on there, since the clips are taken from the film\u2019s various elements, but it appears we\u2019ll be getting a mix of vintage and 21st-century approaches, with shaky-cam videography taking its place beside what looks like a doorbell camera poised to capture whatever terrors stumble across the porch.<\/p>\n
