{"id":183033,"date":"2025-08-28T20:14:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T20:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/183033\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T20:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T20:14:08","slug":"no-code-website-builder-framer-reaches-2b-valuation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/183033\/","title":{"rendered":"No-code website builder Framer reaches $2B valuation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Framer, a no-code website builder that claims over half a million monthly active users, has reached a $2 billion valuation after raising <a href=\"https:\/\/www.framer.com\/blog\/series-d\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a $100 million Series D funding round<\/a> led by existing investors Meritech and Atomico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This double-unicorn milestone comes at a time of hype for website builders \u2014 including direct competitors like Figma, Squarespace, and Wix, as well as rising \u201cvibe coding\u201d platforms such as Cursor and Lovable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023, Framer raised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.framer.com\/blog\/series-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a $27 million Series C<\/a> led by Meritech at an undisclosed valuation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith this funding, we\u2019re doubling down on enterprise growth and AI, so any company can confidently run their entire website on Framer,\u201d CEO and co-founder Koen Bok said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than static landing pages, Framer supports dynamic websites that teams can quickly update \u2014 without requiring developer support. More recently, the company has added analytics and enterprise security features, with the goal of helping \u201ccompanies run their entire .com,\u201d Bok told TechCrunch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in Amsterdam by Bok and Jorn van Dijk, who had sold <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/11\/12\/framer-series-b\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">their design studio<\/a> to Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2011\/06\/09\/facebook-sofa\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in 2011<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.framer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Framer<\/a> describes itself as \u201cthe website builder loved by designers,\u201d with the promise that websites created with its tools will stand out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dutch company has also been investing more heavily into its enterprise business. Since introducing business plans late last year, Framer reports that businesses have become the majority of its new customers.
