PHOENIX \u2014 Phoenix police say no charges are expected after an incendiary device was found Thursday afternoon in a vehicle at the Papago Park military reservation.<\/p>\n

Phoenix police say around 3:45 p.m., they were called to the area of the reservation on McDowell Road between 52nd and 56th streets for the possible presence of an incendiary device.<\/p>\n

The Arizona National Guard says a vehicle arrived at the front gate, and security forces responded to the gate for a bomb threat.<\/p>\n

Officers arrived and located the device.<\/p>\n

They have since called out the department’s Bomb Squad to investigate the device.<\/p>\n

There have been no confirmed explosions and no reports of injuries, according to the Arizona National Guard.<\/p>\n

Police later told ABC15 that the person who brought the device will likely not be charged, as there was “no malicious intent” with the person bringing the device to the reservation.<\/p>\n

The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
