You can <\/strong>read the original article here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n E-Space SAS, a French satellite manufacturing company, is moving forward with plans to put its North American headquarters in Arlington.<\/p>\n The city and EDC have been working with E-Space SAS to locate manufacturing operations and its North American headquarters and manufacturing at Arlington’s municipal airport since April 2024. The company wants to deploy a network of low Earth orbit satellites to connect internet of things devices \u2014 everyday items such as washers and dryers that are connected via sensors and software with the web.<\/p>\n Arlington expects the company will create up to 2,000 direct jobs with an average annual salary of $95,000, plus 1,355 spinoff jobs and an estimated $8.1 billion in wages over 30 years. Arlington officials estimate the project will generate $21.4 million in fiscal benefits for the city over the next three decades.<\/p>\n E-Space is expected to break ground in September and complete the new facility in spring 2027. Gensler<\/a> is the design firm on the project, Moss & Associates is the construction manager at risk and Hill Building Group is the construction firm.<\/p>\n
