Lately, however, the Grammy nominee\u2019s music career has taken a backseat as she deals with some <a href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/the-voice-star-shares-photos-from-hospital-bed-gives-health-update-amid-cancer-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pretty serious health issues<\/a>. Earlier this year, Jessie J (born Jessica Cornish) revealed to fans that she had received an early breast cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, the \u201cDo It Like a Dude\u201d singer, 37, will require a second surgery, forcing her to put touring on hold for now.<\/p>\n<p>            \u2018The Voice\u2019 Coach Jessie J Offers \u201cBlunt\u201d Health Update<\/p>\n<p>Taking to Instagram Thursday (Aug. 29), beloved The Voice star Jessie J straightforwardly delivered some disappointing news for fans who were hoping to catch her on the road before 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cUnfortunately I have to have a second surgery,\u201d she said. \u201cNothing too serious, but it has to be done by the end of this year. And unfortunately, that falls right in the middle of the tour I had booked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Because of this, Jessie J must cancel the U.S. leg of her tour, which was set to kick off in November. She has rescheduled her October concerts in Europe to April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry, I feel frustrated and sad, but also, it is what it is,\u201d the \u201cBang Bang\u201d singer said. \u201cI need to be better, I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/longtime-the-voice-coach-plays-emotional-final-show-before-undergoing-breast-cancer-treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">[RELATED: Longtime \u2018The Voice\u2019 Coach Plays Emotional Final Show Before Undergoing Breast Cancer Treatment]<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In June 2025, Jessie J revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer two months earlier. Later that month, she shared an update from her hospital bed after undergoing her first surgery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were a few people around me who said I shouldn\u2019t share so much,\u201d the \u201cNo Secrets\u201d singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/culture\/music\/article\/jessie-j-pop-fame-cancer-x3dmrqzcs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently told<\/a> the Sunday Times. \u201cBut, to me, that would feel like carrying a weight. This is my purpose. I go through things so that I can support other people.
