While chatting about The Toxic Avenger<\/strong>, Elijah Wood<\/strong> spoke to Bloody Disgusting about his next horror role in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come<\/strong>, which will expand the mythology hinted at in the 2019 original.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a big fan of Radio Silence. I love their films. I love the original. I think Ready or Not is a total blast,\u201d Wood tells me. \u201cI love Samara [Weaving]<\/strong> in that film. I love the cast of that movie and the kind of nugget of the mythology that you get.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I love about this sequel is that it really deepens that mythology<\/strong>, so I\u2019m stoked for people to see it.\u201d Wood teases, \u201cIt\u2019s a movie that takes place almost immediately after the first one ends and enriches everything you love about the original film<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is due out on April 10, 2026 via Searchlight Pictures.<\/p>\n

Radio Silence\u2019s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin <\/strong>and Tyler Gillett<\/strong> are back at the helm along with screenwriters Guy Busick <\/strong>and R. Christopher Murphy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Samara Weaving reprises her role as Grace with Kathryn Newton, Kevin Durand, David Cronenberg, Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/strong>, and Wood.<\/p>\n
