Medical personnel was called because of turbulence on a flight.<\/p>\n<p>According to SkyWest, the flight \u2013 which was operating as United Express \u2013 was on its way from Aspen, Colorado, to Houston when it experienced turbulence.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the severity of the turbulence, the flight was diverted to Austin. At this point, we don\u2019t know about injuries on board. We will follow this story and post any updates as we get them.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a statement KHOU 11 received \u00a0from SkyWest when we reached out for comment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSkyWest flight 5971, operating as United Express from Aspen (ASE) to Houston (IAH), was diverted to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) after experiencing turbulence. The flight landed safely and was met by medical personnel upon arrival.
