PHOENIX<\/strong> – Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle bomb threat on Thursday night at the Papago Park Military Reservation where the Arizona National Guard is based.<\/p>\n What we know:<\/p>\n Phoenix Police said a driver drove up to the facility’s entrance with what authorities “believe was some sort of military explosive device” at around 4 p.m. near 54th Street and McDowell Road<\/strong><\/a> on Aug. 28. The driver wasn’t allowed inside the base.<\/p>\n The Phoenix Police Department’s bomb squad arrived and took X-rays of the device.
