The album features writing and production credits for Carpenter, Amy Allen, Jack Antonoff, and John Ryan across all of the tracks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tCarpenter caused a hubbub after she shared the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sabrina-carpenter-mans-best-friend-album-alternate-cover-1235372108\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">album art<\/a>\u00a0of her kneeling next to a figure in a suit who\u2019s grabbing her hair. She\u2019s since released several other versions of the art for vinyl variants and cassettes. \u201cHere is a new alternate cover approved by God,\u201d she joked about one.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe singer-songwriter celebrated the album\u2019s release with a Spotify-hosted fan event at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where she answered questions about the album before the Audrey Hepburn film Sabrina played.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAhead of the album\u2019s release, Carpenter posed for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/sabrina-carpenter-new-album-mans-best-friend-fame-1235359144\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> cover of Rolling Stone<\/a> and spoke at length about her journey to the new record. Antonoff also told Rolling Stone that he thinks the album is \u201csome of the most honest work I\u2019ve ever heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe album, Carpenter explained, \u201cwasn\u2019t written from a place of \u2018How do I one-up myself?\u2019 or \u2018How do I re-\u00adcreate something else?\u2019\u201d About her previous record, Carpenter said: \u201cShort n\u2019 Sweet\u00a0was this magical gift; it fed me, and it fed a lot of other people in the world. It felt true to me, and it felt authentic to a lot of other people. It\u2019s rare that those line up ever, let alone more than once.
