Fresh out the engagement, Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a> are having their first public date night at Arrowhead Stadium<\/a>, the same place their love story first captured the world’s attention.<\/p>\n

Swift was spotted donning a sweater vest and mini denim skirt<\/a> paired with knee-high white boots. In a social media clip posted to X, Swift was seen flashing her engagement ring<\/a> while she drank from a cup.<\/p>\n

“THE RING IS SPARKLING,” wrote <\/a>one social media user. Another user wrote<\/a>, “i can see how shiny the ring is even in this blurry video.”<\/p>\n

While the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> won’t take the field until Sept. 5 in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, the newly engaged couple is soaking up college football and watching Kelce’s alma mater, Cincinnati, open its season against Nebraska. The neutral-site matchup<\/a> has put Arrowhead in the national spotlight.<\/p>\n

The couple’s appearance comes just days after<\/a> sharing a photo carousel of Kelce’s garden proposal. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married \ud83e\udde8,” the Instagram caption read.<\/p>\n

How much did Taylor Swift<\/a>‘s engagement ring cost?<\/p>\n

Kindred Lubeck was the jewelry designer, and the ring is an old mine brilliant cut diamond. According to British jeweler\u00a0Hancocks<\/a>, the style of diamond is known for its pairing of a square or rectangular stone with rounded corners and sides.<\/p>\n

“It’s traditional with a modern flair. The center stone appears to be a bezel set 7 to 9 ct elongated old mine cushion cut, set in 18k yellow gold,” Jared Jewelers’ VP of Merchandising Ann Grimmett told USA TODAY via email. “The cut and clarity look very good from the photos, so my estimate is that this ring would cost approximately $250-500k.”<\/p>\n

Other industry experts, however, put the ring’s value even higher.<\/p>\n

“If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality, possibly in the D to F colour range with excellent clarity, it could easily be worth between \u00a3500,000 and \u00a3750,000 ($675,000 to $1 million),” Laura Taylor, a jeweler specializing in engagement and wedding rings at Lorel Diamonds, said in an email statement to USA TODAY.<\/p>\n

Her comments point to an ongoing buzzy divide over natural versus lab-grown diamonds, which have gained popularity in recent years.<\/p>\n

The tight end’s father, Ed Kelce<\/a>, revealed that Travis popped the question on Aug. 10, shortly after taping the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast<\/a>. “You could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event,” Ed told an ABC affiliate in Cleveland, recalling the advice he and Scott Swift<\/a> offered Travis.<\/p>\n

For Swift and Kelce, stadiums have become something of a date night tradition.<\/p>\n

The two were spotted at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals<\/a>, cheering at last year’s U.S. Open<\/a> in New York and cozying up at an MLB playoff game<\/a> in October 2024.<\/p>\n

Their return to Arrowhead feels like a full-circle moment, celebrating their engagement in the city where their romance first became headline news<\/a>.<\/p>\n
