It lets registrants select <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/pico-4-ultra-hands-on-impressions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pico 4 Ultra<\/a>, Pico 4, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/pico-neo-3-link-review-quest-2-alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pico Neo 3 Link<\/a>, suggesting Valve plans to support all three of ByteDance&#8217;s consumer headsets.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"kg-bookmark-container\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/valve-steam-link-quest-steamvr-streaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/p>\n<p>Valve Launches Steam Link PC VR Streaming App For Quest<\/p>\n<p>Valve just launched a free Steam Link app on the Quest Store that can stream SteamVR games from your PC.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Steam-Link-for-Quest.jpg\" alt=\"\" onerror=\"this.style.display = 'none'\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Currently, the VR version of Steam Link is only available on Meta Quest headsets, via the Meta Horizon Store. The app launched in late 2023, and lets Quest owners almost instantly wirelessly connect directly to SteamVR on their gaming PC for free.<\/p>\n<p>References to Pico headsets in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/valve-steam-link-quest-steamvr-streaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steam Link app<\/a>\u00a0were first spotted by VR enthusiast\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/writer\/luna\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luna<\/a>, who discovered back in November that the app already runs on Pico headsets if sideloaded, with &#8220;some minor quirks&#8221;. This is because Horizon OS and Pico OS are Android-based operating systems that support OpenXR, the open-standard API that the Steam Link app uses.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">What&#8217;s interesting is that Steam Link on the Meta store does actually have PICO&#8217;s headsets listed in the config file alongside the Meta lineup (Hollywood, Seacliff, Eureka).
