Benvenuto a Venezia! The Venice Film Festival 2025 kicks off this week, which means that Hollywood has landed in northeastern Italy. That\u2019s right: Celebrities are boarding luxury speedboats and throwing fits on the Venetian canals as we speak.<\/p>\n

The Venice red carpet events are only just beginning, but we\u2019ve already seen some major menswear moments in the leap-up to the premieres: George and Amal Clooney dressed as summery as a vacation postcard, Jesse Plemons rocking boat shoes (prep is back!<\/a>), and Adam Sandler palming a basketball<\/a> in a classic Sandler fit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And while we\u2019re at it\u2014some highlights from this year\u2019s festival, which runs from August 27 to September 6, will include Noah Baumbach\u2019s Jay Kelly, which stars Clooney and Sandler; Yorgos Lanthimos\u2019s Bugonia with Emma Stone and Plemons; After the Hunt with Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, and Ayo Edebiri; and Guillermo del Toro\u2019s Frankenstein, featuring Jacob Elordi as the canonical monster. (And so far, the monster wears Bottega<\/a>!)<\/p>\n
