In Philadelphia, where the Archdiocese oversees one of the largest Catholic school systems in the country, students, parents, and administrators are confronting renewed safety concerns in their churches and classrooms.<a href=\"https:\/\/whyy.org\/articles\/minneapolis-catholic-school-shooting-gun-violence\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just so tragic that while they were trying to enhance their faith that it happened,\u201d said Lauren Savko, a student at Sacred Heart Academy, an independent Catholic school in Bryn Mawr. \u201cIt makes me think like, when I\u2019m in church, could that happen to me?\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia is home to roughly 60 Catholic schools, most of which are K-8 schools.
