Lost in Space star Bill Mumy<\/strong> updated fans about his former castmate June Lockhart<\/strong>‘s health.<\/p>\n

While speaking to ReMind Magazine<\/a> in June 2025, Mumy, who played Lockhart’s character, Dr. Maureen Robinson’s son Will Robinson on the beloved CBS series, shared he keeps up-to-date with the Lassie actress. He said while Lockhart does not usually leave her home, she is in good health.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talk to her through her daughter. June is at home. She has two assistants. She\u2019s still in her own home,” said Mumy during the interview. “She follows the politics, she reads the news, but she doesn\u2019t talk on the phone and she doesn\u2019t \u2014 obviously \u2014 she\u2019s not going to put on all her makeup and go out and do a convention or anything anymore, but she\u2019s, well, she\u2019s fine. She\u2019s healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, Mumy shared how he and his Lost in Space co-stars used to celebrate their birthdays while the show was on air from 1965 to 1968. According to Mumy, he and Angela Cartwright<\/strong>, who played Will’s sister, Penny, “were always celebrated on set with cakes and stuff because [they] were kids.”<\/p>\n

“The rest of us, we knew people\u2019s birthdays and throughout all of the decades sent birthday cards and calls and things like that. It\u2019s always been and continues to be a real kind of unconventional family. Everybody got along really well,” said Mumy to the publication.<\/p>\n

Mumy took to his Instagram account<\/a> to celebrate Lockhart’s 100th birthday on June 25. The post featured several pictures of the actress throughout her decades-long career.<\/p>\n

“Happy 100th Birthday to the Mighty JUNE LOCKHART today!! What a gal! She is truly special! Onward. \ud83d\udc4d\ud83d\udc4d\u270c\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f,” read the post’s caption.<\/p>\n

Several fans showered Lockhart with well-wishes in the comments section.<\/p>\n

“Happy 100th birthday to June Lockhart. We love you! \ud83d\ude0d,” wrote a commenter. <\/a><\/p>\n

“Happy Birthday to June! She is a fine actress. I watched her growing up on Lassie, LIS and film! Many more dear lady! \ud83c\udf82,” added another. <\/a><\/p>\n

“A true national treasure! Happiest of birthdays to June! \ud83e\udd73,” shared a different fan. <\/a><\/p>\n
