Christina Applegate is opening up about how her daughter, Sadie Grace LeNoble, has handled her multiple sclerosis and the emotional hurdles it came with. <\/p>\n
\u201cIn my situation, Sadie only knew me as healthy and a runner and a Pelotoner and a dancer \u2014 and she only knew that,\u201d she said. \u201cShe was like stoic about it,\u201d Applegate recalled during a Wednesday episode<\/a> of her podcast \u201cMeSsy,\u201d which she hosts with actor Jamie-Lynn Sigler.<\/p>\n The \u201cDead To Me\u201d star, who was diagnosed with MS in 2021, shared that her daughter initially showed a \u201cstoic\u201d response to the life-change news. <\/p>\n Applegate also described the emotional toll her condition has taken on their day-to-day relationship. <\/p>\n \u201cI see her look at me when I\u2019m in bed,\u201d she confessed. \u201cAnd can\u2019t quite move or, I want to go say goodnight to her in her room, but I can\u2019t quite get down the hallway for whatever reason, my legs aren\u2019t working that day.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cMarried\u2026 with Children\u201d star said that her daughter\u2019s journey has involved adjusting to a \u201cnew normal\u201d \u2014 one where the mother she once knew is no longer the same.
