FORDHAM, The Bronx — Two people were shot and another person was grazed by a bullet outside a church in the Bronx on Friday night.<\/p>\n
Police said it happened just before 9 p.m. at 25-40 Marion Avenue and East Fordham Road near what appeared to be a candlelight memorial.<\/p>\n
A 17-year-old man was shot in the thigh and ankle and a 20-year-old man was shot in the right knee. They were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n
A 28-year-old man was also grazed in the back of his head and was treated on the scene.<\/p>\n
Police are searching for two men who fled on a moped on Marion Avenue. One male suspect was dressed in all black and the other was dressed in all gray.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
The shooting comes a day after Mayor Adams said he was deploying 1,000 additional police officers into the borough to stem the wave of gun violence.<\/p>\n
