At stake are billions of dollars for insurers and hospitals, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2025\/05\/30\/aca-reforms-gop-tax-bill-could-drive-enrollment-down-trump-voters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already facing other GOP-led cuts<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hospitals and health systems are gearing up to talk more with their members of Congress about the impacts of the subsidies running out. Insurers have made the issue a top priority for inclusion in a funding package that must pass by the end of September to avoid a government shutdown.
