A new terrifying video shows the moment\u00a0Hamas soldiers slaughtered an Israeli firefighter\u00a0<\/a>in front of his two young sons on Oct. 7 \u2014 and helped themselves to Coca-Cola while the wounded boys screamed in horror.<\/p>\n

The filmed attack on the Taasa family was shown as part of a roughly 45-minute compilation of clips from the terror group\u2019s deadly 2023 assault that killed 1,2000 Israelis.<\/p>\n

It was presented to world leaders, diplomats and journalists Friday.<\/p>\n

The video had not been released publicly until widow Sabine Taasa, who also lost her oldest son to the terrorists, became determined \u201cto show all the world the\u00a0truth that October 7 happened in Israel.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

It also comes as the Jewish state faces surging\u00a0international condemnation over its ongoing war on Gaza City.<\/a><\/p>\n

Shot on home security footage, the terrifying encounter showed Sabine\u2019s 46-year-old husband Gil desperately rushing his sons, Koren, 12, and Shay, 8, out of their home in Netiv HaAsara, a community just north of Gaza, as Hamas soldiers stormed the building around 6:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

The trio, in just underwear, attempted to flee to the home\u2019s bomb shelter in the backyard \u2014 but were immediately met by the terror group.<\/p>\n

One soldier tossed a grenade at the family.<\/p>\n

The disturbing video was kept private before being shown to the public. Itay Beit-On (GPO)<\/p>\n

Gil Taasa, employed as a senior firefighter, instinctively threw himself on top of the munition to shield his children.<\/p>\n

He was immediately killed in the blast.<\/p>\n

Hamas ushered Koren and Shay \u2014 who were left covered in shrapnel and their dad\u2019s blood \u2014 back inside their home.<\/p>\n

Inside, the pair of brothers inspected one another\u2019s wounds.<\/p>\n

Koren revealed he cannot hear out of his left ear, while Shay said he can\u2019t see out of his eye \u2014 with Sabine later describing that her little one\u2019s eye is \u201changing half out of its socket.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease, please, please. Let me go home!\u201d Koren pleaded with one of the armed militants before crying: \u201cMy dad! My dad!\u201d<\/p>\n

The soldier drank from the family\u2019s fridge as the boys pleaded to be with their mother. Itay Beit-On (GPO) \/ Yehezkel Kandil (Sound, GPO)<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when the elder brother told Shay, \u201cDad\u2019s dead, Shay. I\u2019m not joking. It\u2019s really not a prank.\u201d<\/p>\n

The younger boy tragically replied: \u201cI know. I saw.\u201d<\/p>\n

The boys both suffered a series of emotions, with both wailing\u00a0that they didn\u2019t\u00a0want to die like their father had and questioning why Hamas had left them alive.<\/p>\n

A trail of bloody footprints littered the home where the brothers paced around frantically.<\/p>\n

At one point, a Hamas soldier entered the home\u00a0and offered the pair juice or wine, but ignored\u00a0their desperate cries for their mother.<\/p>\n

Instead, the soldier grabs a bottle of Coca-Cola from the fridge, takes a swig and walks outside.<\/p>\n

The Taasa family also lost their oldest son Or Taasa, 17, that same morning\u00a0while he was on his way to the\u00a0Zikim beach to fish with his friends.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0separate video<\/a>\u00a0taken in the aftermath of that massacre showed the bloodied bodies of several civilians inside a bathroom.<\/p>\n

Some of the victims were inside the stalls as if they were spending their last breathing moments attempting to hide from their killers. Another pair was slaughtered while huddling together in the room\u2019s corner.<\/p>\n

Sabine later testified to the UN in Geneva,\u00a0revealing that her son\u00a0was shot six times.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that normal? Shooting a child of 17 six times in the head?\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Israel did not reveal why it released the video to the world, but said it was not releasing it within Israel \u201cout of respect for the family\u2019s wishes.\u201d<\/p>\n
