As soon as this year, our bounty of goods will only grow with the coming Unimarket. The Canada-based <strong>Latin marketplace, food hall, and caf\u00e9<\/strong> will debut their <strong>first US-based location<\/strong> in Dallas as soon as this year.<\/p>\n<p>Unimarket is a concept owned by Colombian-natives, <strong>Esneyder and Richard Ospina<\/strong>. The two brothers first debuted UniMarket in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2008, as a <strong>small Latin American grocery store<\/strong>. Since then, the market has broadened the concept\u2019s offerings, <strong>adding a food hall and caf\u00e9<\/strong> with prepared items as well as expanded with three locations across Calgary.<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-10699\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Rendering shows the grocery market at the coming Unimarket in Dallas\" width=\"1024\" height=\"688\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/FotoJet-2025-08-29T161939.820-1024x688.jpg\"\/>Image via Unimarket <\/p>\n<p>Today, the venue is known as a <strong>cultural destination<\/strong>, offering Latin American foods, coffees, and desserts as well as <strong>live events<\/strong> ranging from cooking demonstrations to live music.<\/p>\n<p>The company has announced its plans to open its first U.S.A concept in Dallas, Texas. <strong>Coming mid-fall,<\/strong> the venue will be located in the space formerly occupied by Palm Beach Tan at<strong> 7215 Skillman St. #312 i<\/strong>n Kingsley Square.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see a big opportunity down in Texas, from the experience we\u2019ve gained throughout the years, to just come down here and offer <strong>a unique experience<\/strong> where you can taste anything from a Churrasco from Argentina to an empanada from Colombia, (while also) offering <strong>very authentic Colombian premium coffee<\/strong>,\u201d Richard Ospina told the Advocate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-10698\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Image shows the dining space at the Latin Unimarket coming to Dallas\" width=\"1024\" height=\"688\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/FotoJet-2025-08-29T162006.835-1024x688.jpg\"\/>Image via Unimarket <\/p>\n<p>Unimarket\u2019s Dallas location will feature a <strong>grocery market, caf\u00e9, kitchen, and food counter<\/strong> inside a 2,800-square-foot space. Here, Dallasites will be able to find gourmet Latin goods as well as order\/enjoy specialty Latin American breakfast, lunch, and dinner eats. The venue\u2019s restaurant area will<strong> seat 40 patrons.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Specialties at the market\u2019s cafe and food hall include its Latin-inspired coffees, roasted on-site, including <strong>cortados.<\/strong> Additionally, Unimarket features<strong> six different types of empanadas<\/strong>, including Chilean, Criolla, Columbian, Peruvian, Puff Pastry, and Venuzuelan on top of hot foods ranging from <strong>bandeja paisa<\/strong> \u2013 an iconic Columbian dish \u2013 to the Peruvian<strong> lomo saltado<\/strong>, <strong>Argentinian churrasco<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re offering a <strong>Latin immersion in Dallas<\/strong>,\u201d Esneyder told Advocate. \u201cWe\u2019re selling the experience. We\u2019re selling that you have a place where you can feel safe, you can listen to some great light music in a beautiful sitting area, a beautiful store which is always clean with friendly service, so you can go in and taste some of these Latin gems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unimarket plans to open its Dallas location as <strong>early as this September<\/strong> \u2013 October at the latest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Image via Unimarket Dallas is home to no shortage of incredible latin foods.
