{"id":190255,"date":"2025-08-31T23:33:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-31T23:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/190255\/"},"modified":"2025-08-31T23:33:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T23:33:10","slug":"rudy-giuliani-hospitalized-after-his-vehicle-was-struck-from-behind-at-high-speed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/190255\/","title":{"rendered":"Rudy Giuliani hospitalized after his &#8220;vehicle was struck from behind at high speed&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/tag\/rudy-giuliani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Rudy Giuliani<\/a> was hospitalized with multiple broken bones after his vehicle was &#8220;struck from behind at high speed&#8221; in New Hampshire, his spokesperson said Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to his spokesperson, Michael Ragusa, Giuliani suffered &#8220;fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred Saturday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to New Hampshire State Police, troopers were responding to a report of domestic violence on the southbound side of Interstate 93 when they saw the crash involving Giuliani on the northbound side of the highway.<\/p>\n<p>A Honda driven by a woman identified as 19-year-old Lauren Kemp hit the back of a Ford that Giuliani was riding in, which was being driven by his associate Ted Goodman, according to state police. All three were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were &#8220;heavily damaged,&#8221; police said.<\/p>\n<p>Ragusa said that before the crash, Giuliani was flagged down by a woman who was a victim of domestic violence. He &#8220;rendered assistance,&#8221; contacted 911 and &#8220;remained on scene with her until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In a follow-up, Ragusa said the crash was &#8220;not a targeted attack.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani&#8217;s son, Andrew, who is the head of the White House&#8217;s FIFA World Cup 2026 Task Force, thanked people who have reached out after the crash.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a son, I can tell you I&#8217;m honored to have a Dad that I can call the toughest SOB I&#8217;ve ever seen!&#8221; he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AndrewHGiuliani\/status\/1962234222929666373\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">posted on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani rose to fame in the 1980s and &#8217;90s in New York City as a prosecutor before being elected mayor. After two terms as mayor, he dabbled in national politics, even running for president in 2008.
