The fine dining server was not the initial target of Head of Household <strong>Vince Panaro<\/strong>, but when <strong>Mickey Lee<\/strong> used her Veto to pull herself off the chopping block, Katherine became collateral damage. So, who won the all-important HOH competition, and which three houseguests did they nominate for eviction?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Read on for our recap of Big Brother Season 27, Episode 25, which aired Sunday, Aug. 31 on CBS. The 22-year-old bridal consultant has seen her whole side of the house get wiped out ever since using the Veto to save Vince during Rachel&#8217;s HOH reign, which led to the eviction of <strong>Rylie Jeffries<\/strong>. Can Lauren stage a comeback? Or will the five-person Judges alliance of Vince, Rachel, Morgan, Will, and Ashley maintain control? It&#8217;s time to find out.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Vince and Lauren on 'Big Brother 27'\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"365\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/a8badb0568cf95535b3630918133a22d.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Vince and Lauren on &#8216;Big Brother 27&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Following Katherine\u2019s eviction, Lauren is in tears again \u2014 it\u2019s the third week in a row one of her allies has been sent packing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Kelley celebrates her Block Buster win with the line of the night: \u201cI\u2019ve got bitches quackin\u2019!\u201d Meanwhile, Morgan is focused on keeping the Judges alliance alive, but Vince is struggling after losing Katherine on his HOH. He calls it a \u201ccomplete failure\u201d and worries this could sink his game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Elsewhere, Rachel is reminding everyone that she warned them about Kelley\u2019s puzzle skills back when she was on the block against <strong>Jimmy Heagerty<\/strong> \u2014 but no one listened, and now Kelley\u2019s proving her point.<\/p>\n<p>Keanu recruits allies<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu is done playing nice. He\u2019s tired of watching his allies go home because of Vince\u2019s moves, and he\u2019s ready to switch things up. Later, he catches up with Kelley, calling her his \u201cmost trusted ally.\u201d Kelley agrees and admits Vince has never had her back. She feels guilty for doubting Keanu before, but now she says she\u2019s \u201cunwavering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu then checks in with Rachel to clear the air. He promises he has no intention of putting her on the block, but Rachel doesn\u2019t let him off easy. \u201cYou did backstab me and try to get me renommed and evicted,\u201d she reminds him, pointing out they once had a final two deal. Keanu admits he backstabbed her because he thought she was using him as a shield. Rachel shoots back, \u201cHow can you be a shield when I\u2019m a bigger target?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In the Diary Room, Rachel admits she\u2019s stuck. With Morgan and Vince paired up and Ashley and Will working together, she\u2019s the fifth wheel \u2014 which means, for now, teaming up with Keanu might be her only option.<\/p>\n<p>Mystere Moments<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Ava notices the memory wall has disappeared, replaced with the words \u201cMystere Moments.\u201d The houseguests gather around as clips of BB bloopers start playing across the screen. Everyone\u2019s convinced this ties into the upcoming HOH competition, so they\u2019re locked in, trying to memorize every detail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Soon after, it\u2019s time for the HOH competition. As the outgoing HOH, Vince has to sit this one out. The challenge is simple but stressful: the houseguests will face a series of True or False questions based on what they just saw on the Mystere Moments wall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The HOH competition comes down to the wire. Will is the first one out in Round 1, followed by Mickey and Rachel in Round 2. Lauren drops in Round 3, and then Ashley, Ava, and Morgan are all eliminated in Round 4. It all comes down to Keanu and Kelley in the final round \u2014 and Keanu pulls off the win. He\u2019s the new Head of Household!<\/p>\n<p>Houseguests scramble<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu is ready to set the course for the final stretch of his game, but not everyone\u2019s thrilled about his new HOH reign. Vince and Rachel are both worried about where they stand, while Kelley is relieved \u2014 after spending more time on the block than anyone, she finally feels safe alongside her closest ally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu tells Kelley that Morgan is his main target this week, believing sending her home will finally make Vince \u201cpull his head out of his ass.\u201d Later, he chats with Rachel and admits he despises Ashley but won\u2019t nominate her to keep Rachel happy. He also guarantees Rachel\u2019s safety, and she reminds him that when she was HOH, she kept him off the block.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Rachel immediately fills Ashley in on Keanu\u2019s promise, leaving Ashley cautiously optimistic. Meanwhile, Vince is spiraling and turns to Morgan for comfort. Morgan reassures him there\u2019s still a chance all five Judges can survive the week \u2014 as long as they can get Mickey out. She\u2019s convinced Keanu plans to nominate Mickey, Ava, and Ashley.<\/p>\n<p>Vince has another meltdown<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu sits down with Vince and makes it clear: Morgan is his target, and Vince is the only person who would actually use the Veto on her. Vince pleads for safety, looking absolutely desperate, but Keanu isn\u2019t buying it. He tells Vince he loves him \u2014 and then immediately says he doesn\u2019t believe a word he\u2019s saying.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">What follows is basically a full-on verbal smackdown, the one Vince has arguably deserved all season. As Vince bursts into tears, crying, \u201cI\u2019m going home!\u201d Keanu fires back, \u201cMake sure you don\u2019t!\u201d There\u2019s zero sympathy left for Vince\u2019s waterworks \u2014 Keanu is officially done coddling him.<\/p>\n<p>Keanu finalizes his nominees<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Rachel and Keanu sit down for another chat, where Rachel asks about his goals for the season and reassures him of her loyalty. \u201cI know you don\u2019t believe that,\u201d she says, but Keanu surprises her by saying he regrets trying to get her nominated last week. Rachel apologizes for getting Rylie evicted, and just like that, the two make amends \u2014 Rachel and Keanu are officially back on the same page.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Meanwhile, Vince tells Morgan they\u2019re probably both headed for the block and, once again, bursts into tears. Morgan consoles him&#8230;awkward! She then goes to Keanu for a conversation of her own, hoping to change his mind. Keanu tells her the reason he doesn\u2019t trust her is because she told Rachel he targeted her last week. Morgan denies it, and Keanu immediately fires back, \u201cWell, then Vinny did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Keanu isn\u2019t interested in anything Morgan has to say. In the Diary Room, he guarantees she\u2019s going on the block \u2014 no debate, no second chances. At the nomination ceremony, Keanu makes true on his promise. The nominees are Morgan, Vince, and Mickey.
