Tipoff at Target Center is set for 7 p.m. CT, with the game airing locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on KFAA29 and airing nationally on NBA TV.\u00a0 Ron Thulin and Fran Harris will have the call.<\/p>\n<p>The shorthanded Wings (9-31) fell to the Atlanta Dream 100-78 at Gateway Center\u00a0on Friday night. Dallas was limited to just eight players, with the three reserves all joining the team via hardship contracts within the last eight days, including one on Friday morning (Christyn Williams). Maddy Siegrist had a career-high 23 points, shooting 10-17 from the field and adding five rebounds, while Paige Bueckers had 16 points and matched her career best with 10 assists for her second career points-assists double-double. The Lynx (31-8) are coming off a 94-70 win at the Connecticut Sun on Saturday, with DiJonai Carrington scoring a team-best 18 points.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas and Minnesota have met three times this season with the Lynx winning each of the three showdowns. Through Friday\u2019s game at the Atlanta Dream, Dallas players have missed a combined 114 games due to injury or absence. No Wings player has been available for all 40 games this season.<\/p>\n<p><b>Bueckers Approaching Milestone \u2026<\/b>\u00a0 Paige Bueckers 25 points away from taking over the top spot on the Wings franchise rookie scoring list. Over 32 games played, Bueckers has totaled 606 points. Teammate Arike Ogunbowale is the current franchise record holder for points in a rookie campaign, totaling 630 over 33 games in 2019. Bueckers has scored in double figures in 31 of 32 games and eclipsed the 20-point mark on 15 occasions \u2013 seventh most in WNBA history for a rookie.<\/p>\n<p><b>Amazing Amy \u2026<\/b>\u00a0 The Dallas Wings signed Amy Okonkwo to a seven-day hardship contract on Aug. 21. In four games with the Wings, she has averaged 11.3 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting over 53 percent from the field and over 33 percent from three. Okonkwo has the third-highest scoring average among undrafted players over their first four games. She was signed to a second seven-day contract on Friday prior to the Dream game.<\/p>\n<p><b>Back With A Bang \u2026<\/b>\u00a0After missing 18 games recovering from a knee injury, third-year forward Maddy Siegrist returned to the lineup on Aug. 5 and has been on fire ever since. Over the last 11 games, Siegrist has averaged 16.0 points per game, shooting over 56-percent from the field. Siegrist set a career high with 23 points against the Aces on Aug. 17. Prior to her injury, Siegrist was averaging 9.4 points per game while shooting .433 from the field.<\/p>\n<p><b>Wings Add Christyn Williams \u2026<\/b>\u00a0 The Wings signed guard Christyn Williams to an extreme hardship contract, the team announced on Friday. Williams was the No. 14 overall pick by the Washington Mystics in the 2022 WNBA Draft, but suffered a season-ending injury prior to the start of the 2022 campaign. She spent time with the Phoenix Mercury in the 2023 season, while signing a training camp contract with the Minnesota Lynx this past February. She competed at Athletes Unlimited this past March, averaging 7.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Williams also competed at this summer\u2019s 3\u00d73 Basketball Association (3XBA) in Spokane, alongside current Wings Serena Sundell and Amy Okonkwo. Williams played four seasons at the University of Connecticut, including two alongside current Wings teammate Paige Bueckers.
