{"id":191300,"date":"2025-09-01T11:10:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T11:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/191300\/"},"modified":"2025-09-01T11:10:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T11:10:11","slug":"arsenal-fans-are-fuming-at-mikel-arteta-for-what-he-said-about-eberechi-ezes-debut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/191300\/","title":{"rendered":"Arsenal fans are fuming at Mikel Arteta for what he said about Eberechi Eze&#8217;s debut"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Arsenal fans got their first glimpse of Eberechi Eze for the side as he made his debut from the bench over the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It came in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/match-reports\/jamie-carragher-says-everyone-is-wrong-about-what-the-biggest-problem-is-at-arsenal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arsenal\u2019s defeat to Liverpool<\/a>, where a piece of magic for the home side proved to be the real difference.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/mikel-arteta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mikel Arteta<\/a> named a slightly changed team at Anfield, denying a first start for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/news\/arsenal-made-a-last-minute-change-to-their-eberechi-eze-plans-just-before-playing-leeds-on-saturday\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eberechi Eze following his move from Crystal Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As the Gunners started to chase the game, the manager turned to the bench, calling the new forward up for an opportunity to claw back a point.<\/p>\n<p>There were some bright sparks for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/eberechi-eze\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eze<\/a>, but one moment of frustration was highlighted by Arteta that left <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/club\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arsenal<\/a> fans furious.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"694\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-2233039053-1-1024x694.jpg\" alt=\"Mikel Arteta applauds after Liverpool v Arsenal\" \/>Photo by Alex Pantling\/Getty ImagesArsenal fans fume as Mikel Arteta questions Eberechi Eze\u2019s finishing against Liverpool<\/p>\n<p>Eze looked like a bright spark for Arsenal as he came on to make things happen for the visitors.<\/p>\n<p>He had arguably the biggest chance of the game when he went through on goal, but he was unable to get the shot off before going down to the ground.<\/p>\n<p>It was a moment that could\u2019ve changed the whole game, as Arteta told the press: \u201cYou have to put the ball in the back of the net.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were much better than last year when we drew the game. Today we have three, four, five situations inside the box 1v1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEze is completely through just to finish the action.
